More Pleasure Please
Yesterday I was in a sauna talking to a beautiful sister, and we were led to share a conversation about pleasure, eros and channelling this into our businesses.
Bringing in more pleasure in business. Infusing our whole being with activating this sense of pleasure and connection to our eros, our life-force, creative energy and doing everything in our business from this place first.
I realised how I am so OVER doing life from a place of push, pressure and hustle, trying to make something happen or work out. This was a learnt pattern I was replaying. In this place I have completely disconnected myself from the pleasure that's available in my body and entered the pressure world of the mind, completely disconnecting myself from the well of magnetic, feminine ease that it is to be a woman.
To actually DO LESS and see more unfold that's aligned with the way you are meant to move as a woman — with pleasure and connected to my eros.
I've had this full remembering moment… how could I forget!? We are literally taught to choose pain over pleasure. To choose suffering over joy and love. Realising how there are so many ancestral patterns wired in this way.
What I am remembering is that life does not respond well when I take action from this place. In fact, I will never find the ease and peace that I desire from playing out these patterns.
As women we are meant to be deeply connected to this erotic current that literally is life moving through us to bring in our own magick.
Being in our pleasure and eros, THEN moving from here, is our most organic essence. It is deeply innocent and it is what creates worlds.
But somewhere we got taught that this is something to be drenched in shame and disgust — to disconnect women from this very essence that is so powerful and potent.
If women were tapped into this current and then created FROM here, life would look very different. Instead of feeling depleted and disconnected, we are tapped into our pleasure, joy and our overflowing hearts — and life responds drastically from here.
So I am so over approaching life and my business from all the mind-made rules and the way I am told TO DO it. No more shoulds and pressured actions, no matter how subtle. All of that creates rigid structures.
Instead I invite and welcome back energy FIRST. What makes my heart feel alive, expansive and present.
What activates the aliveness, the eros, the creative pulse, the PLEASURE to move through me — and THEN allows me to be moved from here.
This is the kind of world I want. To allow myself to rest and bathe here more often.
Imagine if you tapped into the feeling of joy and pleasure of what it is to ALREADY have that thing you desire, right now. How it expands so much pleasure and expansion in the body.
Life responds from this place with so much ease — we become magnetic to that thing. And it actually takes SO much more struggle, hustle and effort to create from the place of "if I have that thing, THEN I will feel the pleasure, joy and expansion."
NOPE. We live in a BE. DO. HAVE. reality.
Imagine how easily things could unfold if we switched this perspective.
Living in the beauty of what it is to be in this body, in my joy, in my open heart.
